Job Summary
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays daily at convenience stores while rotating products to maintain freshness and quality. Assist with unloading trailers by hand or using carts, and prepare damaged or outdated items for pickup. Secure and move displays as needed, place point-of-sale materials on shelves, and keep back rooms clean by condensing stock. Comply with company safety guidelines, brewery standards, and State of North Dakota regulations. Work independently to plan activities and meet productivity targets, communicating effectively with customers and staff. Requires lifting up to 165 lbs, frequent walking, and working in climate-controlled environments ranging from 32 to 38 degrees. Valid driver's license and high school diploma required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 19 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Must be able to lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-50 pounds
- Must be able to lift 165-pound kegs of beer
- Must be able to reach up to 72 inches
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist
- Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, and climb stairs
- Must be able to safely lift a minimum of 24 lbs. without assistance
- Must be able to push/pull up to 68 lbs
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 165 lbs. floor to waist with appropriate equipment
- Must be able to handle (grasp, turn, seize, hold)
- Must be able to step up/down a 21-inch step
- Must be able to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions
- Must be able to work in coolers with temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 38 degrees
- Must wear steel-toed boots/shoes with skid-proof soles
- Must be able to use a two-wheeler and/or cart to transport product
- Must be able to wear gloves when handling products
- Must have the visual ability to read and interpret written information
- Must have the ability to differentiate product types
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees and customers on all levels of the organization and retail trade
- Must be able to work on evenings and weekends for special events
