Job Summary
On-site service and repair of commercial food equipment with the ability to install and service mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration systems. Reads schematics, understands sequence of operations, adheres to safety programs, and supports preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include after-hours/on-call/weekend repair support, potential travel up to 50%, and contributing to customer experience and technician-led service outcomes. Requires operating tools, reading service manuals, and maintaining equipment/inventory; physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments; has EPA/CFESA/NATE/Hobart certifications where applicable. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years of HVACR service experience
- Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment is preferred
- Industry certification is highly desirable (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) EPA Certification
- Accredited Certified Technician (CFESA / NATE / Hobart) or EPA Certification
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration systems and ability to interpret schematics
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and on-site repairs under varied conditions
- Safety training and PPE adherence
