Job Summary
Service Repair Technician needed to perform calibration and repair operations for flow and vacuum products in the service depot. Responsibilities include calibrations, repairs, and warranty service; using software to collect and evaluate operating data and conduct on-line adjustments; preparing service reports with customer information, conditions found, steps taken, and final calibration data; electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, interpreting schematics/drawings, and inspecting/testing instruments before shipment. Interacts with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Sales to relay issues and propose solutions. Requires ability to work with minimal supervision; strong reading of electrical/mechanical schematics; familiarity with ISO/AS9100 is a plus; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate related equipment. U.S. Person status and in-person presence in Hampton, VA expected; salary $45-55k plus benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent vocational/technical training preferred
