Job Summary
Residential Service & Repair Electrician performs and coordinates the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical products and systems within residential and light commercial settings. Role includes diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical systems, installation and maintenance of panels, smart home systems, surge protection, lighting, generators, and related circuits; educate homeowners on repair, replacement, and upgrade options using pricing guidance; ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and local codes; document repairs and time using dispatch/billing software; manage a clean, stocked company service vehicle and tools; requires 2-5 years of residential electrical experience and a valid license; strong customer service and communication skills; opportunity for advancement and performance-based compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician License
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- 2-5 years residential electrical experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screenings
- Own standard hand and trade tools
