Job Summary
Service Project Consultant in North Wales, PA drives leads into signed contracts by meeting with homeowners, coordinating with schedulers and office staff, presenting tailored solutions, and handling contracts from proposal to payment; role emphasizes face-to-face customer meetings during evenings/weekends/holidays, upselling additional services, arranging financing, generating leads at events, and providing feedback to marketing/production to grow revenue while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Roofing and siding service/repair experience is a plus
- 1-3 years of selling experience in the home building, remodeling, or renovation markets
- Strong selling skills: active listening, determining needs, creating and presenting solutions, overcoming objections, closing deals
- Understanding and working with contracts for construction services or financing for construction services
- Understanding of home insurance and how home insurance claims are processed
- Strong 4-function math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- CRM system experience (service-oriented, mobile access)
- Excellent customer service skills with challenging customers, staff, and vendors
- Perseverance to pursue solutions with non-cooperative parties
- Strong oral and written communications skills with customers, staff, management, vendors
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to changing information
- Valid driver's license with no DUIs and no restrictions for company business
- Clean, reliable, insured personal vehicle
- Honesty, integrity, accuracy, high standards, fairness, good listening and time management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with quantitative emphasis
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to selling, providing, and invoicing construction services
- No restrictions preventing work in the US for any US company
