Job Summary
As a Network Specialist in Backend Services, you will design, implement, and maintain various network systems including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networks. You will manage Cisco and Fortinet devices and provide Tier 2/3 support for network incidents. Responsibilities include configuring VLANs, supporting WAN connectivity, monitoring and managing VPN performance, and implementing security measures for networks. A Bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of experience in network administration are essential. Certifications such as CCNA are required, with CCNP preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network administration or support
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network platforms
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) – required
- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) – preferred
- Fortinet NSE 4 (Network Security Professional) or higher – preferred for FortiGate firewall management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of ITIL practices and service desk operations
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- CLI configuration capability
