Job Summary
Move customers' vehicles to and from service lanes, stalls, and the parking lot as requested. Maintain service department cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash containers while cleaning driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots. Make key tags, apply protective coverings to vehicles, fill fuel tanks, and apply tire dressing. Deliver parts from the parts department and ensure copy machines have paper. Spot check bathrooms for supplies and cleanliness, then fill and clean restrooms as needed. Use proper safety equipment when operating tools and handling products. Report any safety issues immediately to management.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, and talk or hear
- Ability to occasionally sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
