Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, service, and repair residential plumbing systems including toilets, faucets, fixtures, piping, drains, water lines, and water heaters. Complete service calls by identifying leaks, clogged drains, pressure problems, and fixture failures while explaining solutions to customers. Perform inspections, replace components, and operate hand and power tools safely in compliance with Texas codes and company standards. Travel throughout Austin and Georgetown service areas to respond to scheduled calls, maintaining organized work areas and documenting all service work. Work overtime as needed based on demand, with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth within established home service companies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional plumbing experience
- Current Texas plumbing license or registration appropriate for the work performed and employer requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Driving record that meets employer requirements
- Ability to travel to service calls throughout Austin, Georgetown, and surrounding areas
- Hands-on knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, drains, water lines, water heaters, and related equipment
- Ability to diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate repair solutions
- Ability to safely use plumbing hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and service equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to clearly explain plumbing issues and recommended solutions to customers
- Ability to work independently while maintaining safety, quality, and company standards
- Strong reliability, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability and willingness to work overtime when required
Desired Qualifications
