Job Summary
Coordinate repair jobs across vendors and technicians, ensuring all parties receive daily progress updates and accurate invoices are issued immediately upon job completion. Monitor work orders, approve closings, and manage change orders with client signatures to maintain billing accuracy and warranty compliance. Resolve client complaints on billing and warranty issues while analyzing status reports to improve service systems and streamline procedures. Review client repair history, administer estimates, and submit daily summaries to supervisors using current system tools. Work safely in an in-shop environment, adhering to all company policies and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in organizing, planning, or scheduling
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English
- Must have interpersonal, organization and planning skills sufficient to assist clients
- Demonstrates leadership, integrity, quality, teamwork, and a sense of urgency in performing duties and responsibilities
- Must be willing to learn about CAT products sold and serviced
- Must have mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose all aspects of the repair process and the ability to read and interpret technical material
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office products
- Mathematical skills sufficient to calculate percentages, compute cost per hour charges and project future expenses
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to sit, use hands and talk or hear
- Must be able to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop and kneel
- Must be able to work in an environment occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions
- Must be able to work in an environment occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat
- Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is usually office moderate
