Job Summary
Manage parts inventory by anticipating business needs to optimize service center operations. Maintain accurate perpetual and annual inventories, order special-order parts, and stock items efficiently in designated bins. Generate parts estimates for customers, insurance companies, and internal fleet vehicles. Interpret automotive terminology to enable precise parts searches and ordering while promoting accessory sales. Oversee parts warranty returns and manage transfers between service locations. Achieve and maintain a high First Time Fill Rate (FTFT) to ensure timely service. Full-time role including weekends or extended hours during busy periods. Base pay range $28–$38 USD.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 5 years of experience as a Service Parts Advisor (back counter), with a strong track record of efficiently dispatching parts to technicians in the shop to support seamless operations
- Proficiency in parts catalog search for specific repair needs
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification, demonstrating a commitment to safety and operational efficiency in the workplace
- Ability to work independently and make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment, effectively minimizing downtime on repairs
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office as well as learn proprietary DMS software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods of time
- Full-time, including weekends or extended hours during busy periods
- Willingness to complete Lucid provided CPR training post hire
- Valid driver's license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver's License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire
Desired Qualifications
- AA/BS in either Automotive Technology or Business Management, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and EV powertrains
- Start-up experience and related fast-paced environments
- Previous OEM Parts training
