Job Summary

Service Operations Support Manager leads training and project implementation for Service initiatives, serves as a subject-matter expert on service policies and KPI’s, and oversees asset and tooling utilization. Responsible for root cause failure analysis of large warranty claims, training location leaders on FleetPride service KPIs, and providing operational coaching to improve performance across service departments. Must manage and transfer knowledge for new acquisitions, ensure assets are properly utilized and maintained, and coordinate asset relocation and tool/diagnostic software provisioning. Requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and ability to travel up to 40-50% to support multiple locations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required; Associates Degrees or Technical Degree Preferred
  • Eight years’ experience in the service business, preferably in diesel truck/trailer repair and sales
  • At least 3 years in a managerial role in a service environment; demonstrated leadership
  • Experience attracting, retaining, and developing service professionals
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to travel 40-50%
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety policies and KPI tracking (Gain/Loss, Productivity, Efficiency)
  • Experience with equipment/assets management, tooling, diagnostic software, and licensing costs
