Job Summary
Service Operations Support Administrator – Consumer Hardware Quality Control responsible for hands-on testing and evaluation of customer devices within an RMA/triage environment, identifying hardware defects, software issues, and configuration errors. Partners with Product Management, Engineering, IT Quality Assurance, and other teams to develop testing strategies; maintains a device testing laboratory; conducts remote diagnostics and repairs; configures monitoring dashboards and reports; tracks incidents using Jira/ServiceNow; develops UAT procedures; applies ITIL/ITSM best practices; documents test results; collaborates to detect trends and drive quality improvements; prepares SOPs and training materials; supports device readiness testing and KPI achievement; and works in a warehouse environment in Antioch/Nashville, TN with standard office suites and collaboration tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a professional Service Desk, Help Desk, Systems Administration, Telephony Support, or Telephone Testing environment
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing consumer hardware and software issues, including PSTN and VoIP-based devices
- Experience with event monitoring systems, remote device management tools, and incident management platforms
- Proficiency with modems, routers, VoIP, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP, Android OS applications, APK and SDK methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of Windows OS
- Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed
