Job Summary
Lead daily shop, service, parts, and vehicle-readiness operations to meet production and availability goals by managing technicians, parts associates, and Operations Specialists. Build and adjust production plans, assign work, track progress, and coordinate tow-in triage, vendor pickups, and mobile repairs while auditing completed work for accuracy. Oversee detailing, inventory controls, and lot organization through Gemba walks and 6S practices, ensuring every vehicle meets Flexcar standards. Monitor labor efficiency, parts shrink, and vendor spend against budget, maintaining accurate records and timely status updates. Partner with the Site Lead to resolve OOS backlogs and ensure full compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years of operations management experience
- Experience directly managing frontline teams
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organization, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze raw data, identify trends and discrepancies, and translate findings into action
- Understanding of 6S, Gemba, and continuous-improvement practices
- Comfort using smartphones, reporting tools, and operational technology platforms
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and some holidays
