Job Summary
Service Oiler in Haines, Alaska responsible for routine maintenance and inspections, diagnosing and implementing repairs, maintaining detailed service records, coordinating maintenance priorities, performing oil changes and lubrication services, and assisting with inventory management. Requires CDL with Hazmat endorsement, ability to pass drug tests and PAT, and comfort working in outdoor conditions while collaborating with the team; Colas Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or service oiler, ideally in vehicle and equipment maintenance.
- Outstanding attention to detail and a strong dedication to safety and environmental guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and complete projects within strict deadlines.
- Must have a valid CDL with a Hazmat endorsement.
- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
- Able to pass a Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
- Work in various outdoor conditions.
- Effective interpersonal skills and able to build cooperative working relationships with the team.
