Job Summary
The Service Market Development Representative leads lead generation and customer conversion for the Epredia Service business across three revenue streams (Service Contracts, Billable Service, and Spare Parts). The role primarily contacts customers by telephone, with email and internet usage to drive conversion, and involves developing opportunities, maintaining a pipeline, and achieving revenue targets. Collaborates with Field Service Engineers, Field Applications Specialists, and Field Service Managers to grow service revenue, research competitor activity, and penetrate the market. Responsibilities include managing targeted calls and inquiries, determining contract or billable service offerings based on customer needs, supporting quoting, tenders, and required legal documentation, maintaining records, and communicating issues to leadership. Requires developing relationships with key decision makers, traveling to customer locations as needed (up to 10%), and working EST hours. The position offers a salary range of $65,000-$72,000 plus potential bonuses, and opportunities within a global company focused on diagnostics and service solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences or business management, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or service industry
- Must be able to work EST hours
- Must be willing to travel to customer locations as needed (up to 10%)
