Job Summary
Service Manager in Yarmouth, ME leads automotive service operations by building a high-performing team, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include hiring and developing technicians, overseeing LMS and vendor trainings, ensuring ASE certifications and maintenance qualifications, scheduling to meet customer needs, evaluating and assigning work orders, maintaining a clean and compliant service environment, and communicating with management to uphold service standards and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
