Job Summary
Service Manager at VIP Automotive Services in Winslow, ME is responsible for leading a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, maintaining safety and compliance, and managing daily operations. Key duties include hiring and developing an extraordinary team, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings are completed, overseeing ASE certifications for staff, scheduling to meet customer needs, directing dispatch and work-order allocation to technicians, coordinating communication and meetings, maintaining a clean and compliant service environment, and serving as policy administrator while upholding the code of ethics and relevant regulations. Requires strong leadership, communication, automotive industry knowledge, and a minimum of two years of related management experience; two-year college/technical program recommended; ASE C1 certification required with additional ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
