Job Summary

Service Manager responsible for leading a high-performing automotive service team at VIP, focusing on delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Key duties include hiring and developing staff, coordinating LMS and vendor training, ensuring ASE certifications (C1), managing work orders and dispatching to technicians, implementing the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions, maintaining a compliant and safe facility, and communicating effectively with management and staff to meet service standards. The role requires strong leadership, safety awareness, process enforcement, and a deep understanding of automotive servicing and the industry.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years related experience in automotive service management
  • Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
  • Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
  • Equipment Safety Certification
  • ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
  • State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
  • ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
  • ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
