Job Summary
Develop field service outage cost estimates and manage projects from beginning to end, including schedule, cost, man loading, and job setup. Act as the primary customer interface while reviewing forecasts to maximize utilization and negotiating subcontract terms. Lead daily project execution status calls, audits, and inspections to ensure safety compliance and operational targets are met. Own project status, monitor costs with the project controls team, and approve technical reports and supplier invoices. Preside over a team of field employees, conduct shift handover reviews, and implement corrective actions based on safety observations and root cause analyses. Interview candidates for recruitment and manage requisitions for tooling and vendor services. Travel may be required, and holidays, weekends, and overtime are expected.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
- 3+ years managing and developing employees
- 3+ years of specialized/industry experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field with minimum 5 years project management experience
- Experience in power generation or technical industry can be substituted for degree and/or project management experience
- English proficiency required
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
- Travel may be required
