Job Summary
Service Manager will lead and support the technician team on a field-based route (4 days per week, 3–4 days per week on route) and collaborate with the Branch Manager to ensure quality service, technician development, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include opening the office each morning, coordinating vehicle and equipment maintenance, managing product inventory, facilitating weekly training and ride-along field training, motivating and leading technicians, ensuring compliance with company policies and service standards, and assisting in hiring, onboarding, and developing new team members. Requires Pest Control License and Pesticide Applicator License, valid Driver’s License, and at least 1 year of pest control experience; strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential. Compensation includes monthly commission plus bonuses, sales commissions and tips, with benefits such as a company vehicle, 401(k) match, health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO, and training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pest Control License (required)
- 1+ year pest control experience (required)
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- Clean driving record: no more than 2 tickets and 1 or fewer at-fault accidents in past 3 years (required)
- At least 21 years of age (required)
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing (including THC/CBD) (required)
- Valid Pesticide Applicator License (required)
- Experience leading and developing a technician team (implied by role)
