Job Summary
Service Manager responsible for leading the service department, building and developing a high-performing team, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key duties include safety leadership, hiring and coaching associates, coordinating training (LMS and vendor), ensuring ASE certifications are pursued, scheduling and dispatching work to technicians, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the service Code of Ethics, communication across management levels, and serving as policy administrator to uphold service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
