Job Summary

Manager-in-Training (M.I.T.) to learn VIP’s culture and management processes and lead a team to ensure safe, compliant operation and exceptional customer experience at the Lewiston location. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a high-performing team, ensuring LMS training and ASE certifications, scheduling to meet customer needs, communicating with the team, training on the 5 for 5 process, dispatching work orders to technicians, and maintaining facility and equipment, while adhering to safety policies and regulatory requirements. Requires strong leadership, coaching, safety focus, and thorough understanding of automotive servicing and industry standards; two years of automotive service management experience and relevant ASE certifications/licensing are expected, with a two-year college or technical program recommended.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years related experience in automotive service management
  • Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
  • Equipment Safety Certification
  • ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
  • State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
