Job Summary
Motivate, coach, and train technicians to exceed time and quality standards while ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired. Lead, plan, and measure all service and maintenance performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Manage the parts department to ensure optimal customer service, productivity, and cost control. Evaluate team member performance and promotability, providing necessary skills training and regular coaching. Responsible for R&M, P&L, and associated costs and budget. Staff the location adequately based on skills and workload. Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership and accountability. Lead the Fluid Solutions Division with a focus on building a profitable location.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Extensive Equipment Fleet Maintenance and leadership experience
- 5 years' service and maintenance experience
- A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- Strong motivational and leadership skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of maintenance accounting and P&L
- Basic computer skills (Excel)
- This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures
