Job Summary
Lead the Service Center as the primary service advisor, integrating sales and service experiences while managing workflow, staffing, and KPIs. Train mechanics, engage customers to recommend timely service, and control costs by organizing service orders and maintaining a clean department. Write over 50% of shop work orders, communicate with customers, and ensure bikes are built and delivered efficiently. Review service reports to find efficiencies and anticipate shop needs to support both service and sales teams. This role requires 3+ years of bicycle service center experience and a commitment to delivering Trek's signature hospitality.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of bicycle service center experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, pitch-right-in attitude and motivation to help every customer find what they need
- Fantastic hospitality—a warm, approachable manner, great listening skills, and a drive to help in any way you can—even on the toughest, busiest days
- Great leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop future leaders
- Ability to plan effectively and stay a step ahead of your shop's needs
