Job Summary
Lead automotive service at VIP in Topsham, ME by building and guiding a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include hiring and developing associates, ensuring safety, training compliance (LMS and vendor), attaining ASE certifications, properly scheduling the team to cover all hours, overseeing service desk and work orders, maintaining a clean, compliant facility, enforcing the service Code of Ethics, coordinating with management, and driving performance across safety, operations, and customer satisfaction. Strong people leadership, excellent communication, and solid automotive servicing knowledge are required to meet targets and uphold VIP’s mission to earn automotive customers for life.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
