Job Summary
Service Manager responsible for leading and developing a high-performing automotive service team, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences. Duties include hiring and coaching associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, achieving ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1), scheduling to meet customer needs, dispatching work orders, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the service Code of Ethics, and coordinating communications across management levels. Requires strong leadership, verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of automotive servicing and industry practices. Standard work week is five days with a minimum of 50 hours; requires managing store operations, safety, and adherence to policies.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
