Job Summary
Manage work orders and work-in-progress to ensure accurate, timely service delivery for welding, mechanical, and field support operations. Lead and mentor service supervisors while developing annual operating budgets and monitoring financial performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and partner with sales teams on quotations and contracts. Collaborate with operations, parts, and purchasing teams to optimize scheduling and resource allocation. Maintain operational data and reporting to support business decisions. This Mid-Level Leader role sits within SMS Equipment's competency framework. Candidates must hold 8–10 years of experience in large construction or mining operations.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in large construction or mining operations

- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead large teams in a service or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe work practices
- Experience developing and executing operational strategies, processes, and performance improvement initiatives
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and welding operations, maintenance, and repair practices
- Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis
- Experience managing contracts, parts operations, warranty programs, and quality processes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, employees, and stakeholders
- Location: On-site at our Timmins, ON branch
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
