Service Manager

Oversee day-to-day service operations by scheduling work for service advisors, technicians, and the yard team while managing work orders. Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate the performance of all service team members. Greet customers, determine needs, and provide clear instructions on work orders while promoting additional labor, parts, and accessories. Estimate repair costs, prepare itemized work orders, obtain customer signatures, and collect payment before releasing boats. Use manufacturer flat rate guides and Standard Service Operations to determine time allotments and ensure timely completion. Coordinate with manufacturers for repair approvals, maintain production reports, verify compensation, and develop department budgets. Implement safe, effective work procedures and participate in the MarineMax Safety Program to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
