Job Summary
Service Manager responsible for leading an automotive service team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and upholding VIP’s safety and ethics standards. Responsibilities include building and coaching a capable team, coordinating LMS and vendor training, ensuring technicians hold required certifications (ASE C1, P2, G1), scheduling to meet customer needs, managing dispatch of work orders, maintaining a clean and compliant service department, enforcing safety and service codes, and communicating effectively with management and customers to drive performance and growth.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program is recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
