Job Summary
Service Manager (Registered Manager) leading a team at Alinora in Worthing to provide high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities. Role involves registered status with CQC, supervising staff, safeguarding and risk management, medication handling, and promoting independence and community integration. Extensive leadership responsibilities include coaching, rostering, recruitment, maintaining high standards of practice, and ensuring Positive Behaviour Support and regulatory compliance. Based at Alinora with potential use of other locations as needed; requires experience in learning disabilities or care home settings and Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma, with ongoing training including Level 5 Diploma opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Enhanced DBS check (paid for by employer)
- Registered with the CQC
- Ability to manage safeguarding, risk and health & safety
- Experience in learning disabilities or care home settings
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and the Mental Capacity Act
- Understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance
- Willingness to complete Southdown training and Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- Full manual driving licence may be required for service vehicles
