Job Summary
Lead and oversee the HVAC service department, coordinating dispatch, service estimators, and service technicians to meet service demands and customer expectations. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training HVAC staff; supervising technicians in maintenance, repair, and start-up activities; ensuring safety, quality standards, and timely service quotes, work orders, invoices, and reporting. Develop and monitor budgets and department goals, maintain vendor communications regarding recalls and warranty issues, and ensure PM inspections are completed on schedule. Collaborate with other departments to align service operations with company goals, drive customer satisfaction, and foster continuous improvement; maintain training records and ensure proficiency through ongoing OEM product training. Ability to work a non-standard schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and lead a team to deliver safe, reliable HVAC service in commercial settings.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of HVAC industry experience
- Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role managing others
- Valid HVAC certification and EPA license
