Job Summary
Service Manager role overseeing Plumbing & Refrigeration services in Delta, BC. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of technicians, managing daily service operations (dispatch and scheduling), overseeing job costing, invoicing and budgeting, growing the service division through client retention and new maintenance contracts, providing technical support to technicians, identifying operational improvements to increase efficiency and service quality, and assisting with hiring and training of new technicians. Requires 15+ years of trade experience with leadership, Journeyperson certification (preferred) or equivalent experience, and strong venture-management capabilities in service operations and profitability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and service management software is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in plumbing or refrigeration (on-the-tools plus leadership)
- Journeyperson certification in Plumbing or Refrigeration (preferred) or equivalent experience
- strong service management or operations leadership experience
- proven ability to manage technicians, customers, and financial performance
- solid understanding of job costing, service operations, and profitability
- comfortable using Microsoft Office and service management software
