Job Summary
Lead and manage ABB’s UK engineering service team to deliver efficient, high-quality service across the Paper & Metals customer base. Remote from Mainland UK with travel to customer sites across the UK and occasional international travel. Develop and implement service strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction; maximise utilization and effectiveness of the field engineering team; oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development; conduct performance reviews and coaching; foster a collaborative, customer-focused and inclusive culture; ensure delivery of all contractual commitments on time and within scope; build strong relationships with end customers and collaborate with Service Account Managers, Coordination & Spares, Technical Support, Field Service Engineers, QHSE, Project Managers, and European Operations; identify opportunities to expand service offerings and support proposal development; maintain service documentation and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, QHSE, and quality standards; stay current with new technologies and industry developments. Travel to customer sites across the UK, with occasional international travel as required.
