Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex maintenance issues across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, structural, lighting, and security systems while proactively identifying areas needing repair. Lead a team of technicians by assigning daily tasks, inspecting completed work, and providing mentorship on safety protocols and company standards. Manage service request workflows, preventive maintenance schedules, and vendor coordination to ensure timely, high-quality service that supports resident satisfaction. Track the maintenance budget, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain supply and parts inventory to support work orders. Handle on-call rotations and emergency situations as the primary point of contact for the community. Work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Multifamily experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Universal EPA and CPO certifications
- Valid Class E driver's license
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations including EPA, OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, technical manuals, and equipment documentation
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call rotations as needed
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks including lifting, climbing, and working indoors/outdoors
