Job Summary
Service Manager responsible for leading a VIP automotive service team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Duties include building and developing a high-performing team, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, coordinating training and LMS requirements, guiding technicians and service staff, managing work orders and scheduling, maintaining a clean and compliant service facility, and communicating with management to achieve performance targets. Requires automotive service knowledge, leadership ability, ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1 recommended), and relevant experience; 2-year college/technical program recommended; valid driver’s license and state-specific certifications as listed.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Sound business sense with ability to analyze and prioritize
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive servicing and the industry
