Job Summary

Service Manager responsible for operational leadership of health/social care services, overseeing 4–5 service packages with ~900–1,000 commissioned hours weekly, direct line management of 30+ staff, budget and KPI oversight, regulatory compliance (CQC/Single Assessment Framework), on-call rotation seven days a week, and collaboration with HR, Clinical Support, Finance, and commissioners to ensure high-quality, person-centred care and service development across Lincoln, Doncaster, and Norwich.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational leadership within health or social care
  • Level 4 qualification (or higher) in Leadership or Management
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Proven experience in budget and P&L management
  • Strong understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, or complex needs
  • Knowledge of commissioning and contract management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems (e.g., finance, rostering, client management)
