Job Summary
Service Manager in Laconia, NH leads automotive service operations, emphasizing safety, team-building, training, and compliance. Responsible for hiring and developing a high-performing team, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings are completed, achieving a superior customer experience, managing scheduling and dispatch of work orders, maintaining facility and equipment standards, enforcing the service code of ethics, and coordinating communication with management. Requires strong leadership, excellent verbal/written communication, automotive servicing knowledge, and relevant ASE certifications; standard workweek is five days with a minimum of 50 hours. Certification requirements include ASE C1, and eligibility for State Inspection License where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
