Job Summary
Oversee 24-hour response to service requests; schedule and perform preventative maintenance; be available on an on-call basis; analyze and resolve work problems; initiate plans to motivate workers to achieve goals; manage tools required by John Deere and affiliates for Service Technicians; report unusual or extraordinary equipment circumstances to management; maintain professional appearance and attitude of service personnel at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or agriculture field
- Knowledge of agriculture, especially farming and ranching
- self-starter, detail oriented and organized; excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
- valid driver’s license in good standing, ability to be an approved driver for the company and to safely operate vehicles
