Job Summary
Manage a 24-hour response to service requests and schedule preventative maintenance for John Deere equipment. Analyze and resolve work problems, suggesting plans to motivate workers to achieve goals. Maintain required property uniforms and ensure professional appearances for all service personnel. Handle the supply and upkeep of all tools, report unusual equipment circumstances, and operate vehicles safely while troubleshooting parts issues. Requires an on-call basis, a valid driver's license, and a bachelor's degree in business management or agriculture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management or agriculture field
- Knowledge of agriculture, especially farming and ranching
- Self-starter
- Detail oriented
- Organized
- Excellent communication skills
- Interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization and with outside contacts
- Great knowledge in various types of parts involved in the company
- Skills in troubleshooting
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Ability to be an approved driver for the company
- Ability to safely operate vehicles
