Job Summary
The SMII leads and develops a high-potential service team to deliver exceptional customer experiences at the VIP location. Responsibilities include safeguarding workplace safety, performing duties of the Assistant Manager, hiring and developing associates, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings are completed, verifying ASE certifications, scheduling to meet customer needs across all hours, coordinating communication and meetings, guiding the 5 for 5 process with customers, and managing dispatching of work orders to technicians. The role ensures facility and equipment maintenance, compliance with the service Code of Ethics and all municipal, state, and federal regulations, and contributes to performance measurement and daily/weekly/monthly reporting. Requires strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, automotive servicings knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with applicable certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
