Job Summary

The Service Manager II (SMII) role responsibilities include leading a service team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring safety and compliance with policies and regulations, and developing associates to advance toward the Service Manager position. Key duties involve hiring and developing a superior team, coordinating LMS and vendor trainings, ensuring ASE certifications for staff, proper scheduling for all hours of operation, effective communication and daily huddles, overseeing work order dispatch to technicians, conducting off-site trainings as needed, maintaining facility and equipment standards, enforcing the service Code of Ethics and regulatory procedures, and performing additional management duties as required. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, automotive servicing knowledge, and the ability to manage performance and adherence to VIP programs and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years related experience in automotive service management
  • Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
  • Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
  • Equipment Safety Certification
  • ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
  • ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
  • ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
  • State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
