Job Summary
SMII role develops into a Service Manager with responsibility for leading a VIP team to deliver high-quality customer experiences, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating scheduling and training, and supervising critical service operations. Key duties include hiring and developing a superior team, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings, achieving certifications (ASE), managing dispatch of work orders, maintaining a clean facility, enforcing compliance with ethics/regulations, and communicating across management to meet performance targets. Required: automotive service management experience, ASE certifications, state inspection license (as applicable), and a valid driver’s license; expected workweek includes 5 days and minimum 50 hours. Location: Topsham, ME; on-site/hours expected; salary described as PayType: Salary.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
