Job Summary
The SMII leads and develops an automotive service team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include hiring and developing associates, scheduling to meet demand, communicating effectively, managing the service desk and work orders, training for ASE certifications, dispatching to technicians, coordinating off-site trainings, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the service Code of Ethics, and ensuring adherence to municipal, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
