Job Summary
Service Manager II in South Portland, ME, responsible for leading an automotive service team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and VIP program execution. Develop and coach the team, hire and train associates, ensure safety and compliance, manage scheduling and workflow, monitor service desk operations, dispatch work orders to technicians, and drive adherence to the Code of Ethics and company procedures. Requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, familiarity with LMS and ASE certifications, and ability to oversee facility maintenance and safety for the service department.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
