Job Summary
Service Manager II in Shelburne, VT reports to Service Manager and is responsible for leading a team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience while ensuring safety, compliance, and adherence to VIP programs and standards. The role involves managing staffing and scheduling, developing associates through LMS and vendor trainings, ensuring ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1) where applicable, coordinating dispatch of work orders to technicians, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing service ethics and regulatory compliance, and communicating effectively with management and customers. The position expects 5-day weeks with a minimum of 50 hours per week, requiring strong leadership, organizational, and automotive-service knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with applicable certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
