Service Manager II - Scarborough, ME

The SMII role develops into a Service Manager path by leading a VIP team to deliver exceptional customer experience and uphold safety, policies, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a superior team, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings are completed, certifying associates in basic automotive service, coordinating scheduling to meet customer needs, managing communications and daily huddles, guiding dispatching of work orders based on technician availability, and maintaining a clean, compliant service facility. The position emphasizes enforcing the service Code of Ethics and applicable municipal, state, and federal regulations, while achieving performance targets through regular reporting and collaboration with management. A strong foundation in automotive servicing, people management, and effective communication is required, with at least two years of related automotive service management experience and a two-year educational program recommended. A valid driver’s license and relevant safety and ASE certifications are also required or recommended, depending on the certification.
