Job Summary
Oversee a service team at the Rutland VIP location to deliver safe, compliant automotive service and an exceptional customer experience. Responsible for hiring and developing associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training, coordinating scheduling across all hours of operation, communicating effectively through daily huddles and meetings, and dispatching work orders to technicians. Lead the team to meet VIP programs and standards, enforce the service Code of Ethics, maintain facility and equipment, and ensure regulatory compliance. Role serves as a development path toward future Service Manager responsibilities while managing performance and coaching associates to achieve service results.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
