Job Summary
Service Manager II in Rockland, ME to lead a team in delivering exceptional automotive service. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a superior team, ensuring safety compliance and training (LMS, ASE certifications), scheduling to meet customer needs, effective communication and daily huddles, overseeing service desk operations, dispatching work orders to technicians, driving VIP programs and standards, and maintaining facility and equipment. Requirements include strong leadership and communication skills, automotive servicing knowledge, and a two-year college/technical school background or equivalent experience; ASE C1 certification required with optional P2 and G1 certifications; valid driver’s license and applicable state inspections license. Exempt, salary position with standard five-day work week and minimum 50 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Equipment Safety Certification
