Job Summary
The SMII role at VIP in Rochester, NH focuses on developing and leading a service team to deliver a premier customer experience while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and VIP program standards. Responsibilities include hiring and developing associates, scheduling to meet customer needs across all hours, coaching through LMS and vendor training, ensuring ASE certifications (C1, with P2 and G1 recommended) and relevant licenses, managing dispatch and work orders to technicians, conducting daily communications and meetings, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the service Code of Ethics and applicable regulations, and driving performance through daily/weekly/monthly reporting. The position requires strong people management, leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of automotive servicing.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1– Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
