Job Summary
Service Manager II in Portsmouth, NH leads and develops a high-performing automotive service team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities include implementing VIP processes, hiring and developing associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, maintaining safe and compliant operations, scheduling to meet customer needs, communicating effectively, guiding technicians through work orders, and maintaining a clean, compliant service department. Requires strong leadership, verbal/written communication, analytical and organizational skills, automotive servicing knowledge, and a valid driver’s license with applicable ASE certifications and state inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
